The various form of character rendering, drawn or inked are entertaining. However, visualizing in 3D provides additional entertaining values. Characters can act, interact, respond to simulations. Visualizing characters and a story in this form allows much higher quality rendering, such as, the application of 2 or 8K texture and displacement maps, subsurface scatter for skin rendering, global illumination and other lighting techniques. Of course, viewing motion pictures animation is entertaining but animation in books allows a little more interaction, rotating subjects around, zooming in on a section of a video or still image to see every detail of the subjects the artist want to show. It is also applicable for Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).
